The Indianapolis Colts dominated the Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 32-14, securing a critical victory in Week 2 of the 2026 season. This win not only boosts the Colts' confidence but also establishes them as a contender early in the campaign, while the Chiefs will need to regroup after a disappointing performance at home. Leading the charge for the Colts was quarterback Daniel Jones, who threw for an impressive 253 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to stretch the field and find open targets. Jones' precision helped his team gain momentum, while Alec Pierce contributed with 56 receiving yards, providing crucial support in the passing game. On the ground, Kenneth Walker shined for the Chiefs, racking up 116 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Indianapolis. Defensively, the Colts made their mark with standout performances from Sauce Gardner, who intercepted two passes, and Laiatu Latu, who recorded a sack. The turning point of the game came when Gardner's second interception set up a quick touchdown for the Colts, effectively shifting the game's momentum and putting the Chiefs on their heels. With this strong defensive effort, Indianapolis was able to maintain control and ultimately seal their commanding victory.
