In an explosive matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders toppled the Kansas City Chiefs with a commanding 45-27 victory in Week 3 of the 2027 season. This win not only boosts the Raiders’ morale but also positions them favorably in the competitive AFC West. Raiders quarterback CJ Carr was the star of the show, throwing for an impressive 446 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his ability to dissect the Chiefs' defense. Meanwhile, Troy Franklin shone in the receiving game, racking up 168 yards, proving to be a favorite target for Carr and consistently moving the chains. Defensively, the Raiders made key plays that shifted momentum, highlighted by Eric Stokes' interception that halted a promising drive from Kansas City. Although Jailin Walker from the Chiefs tallied two tackles and a sack, it wasn't enough to contain the Raiders' offensive onslaught. The turning point came in the second quarter, where back-to-back scoring drives from the Raiders created a gap that the Chiefs could never recover from.
