In a dominating performance to kick off the 2027 season, the Cleveland Browns crushed the Arizona Cardinals 56-0. This matchup was critical for both teams as they aimed to establish momentum early in the year, but the Browns made a powerful statement with their overwhelming victory. Drew Allar was the standout on offense for Cleveland, throwing for 248 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his command of the game. Jeremiyah Love was a force on the ground, racking up an impressive 234 rushing yards, while Nick Marsh added a significant contribution with 115 receiving yards. The offensive unit executed flawlessly, leaving the Cardinals struggling to find an answer. Defensively, the Browns were relentless, with Brian Branch leading the charge with two interceptions and contributing to the team's two total tackles. The turning point came early in the game when Branch's second interception set up another quick score, swinging the momentum firmly in Cleveland's favor. Combined with a sack from Dylan Stewart, the Browns' defense stifled Arizona's attempts to mount any offense, sealing a lopsided victory.
