In a tightly contested matchup, the Houston Texans narrowly defeated the Buffalo Bills 24-20 in Week 10 of the 2027 season. Both teams entered the game with playoff aspirations, but it was the Texans who emerged victorious, solidifying their position in the playoff race. John Mateer led the Texans' offense with an impressive performance, throwing for 249 yards and three touchdowns. A standout receiver, Nico Collins, was a key target, racking up 144 receiving yards, while Keaton Mitchell contributed with 60 rushing yards, helping Houston maintain their offensive momentum throughout the game. Defensively, the Texans managed to keep the Bills in check, with Kamari Ramsey recording a critical sack that shifted the game's momentum. The turning point came in the fourth quarter, as Houston's defense stifled Buffalo's final drive, allowing them to hold on for the win. Despite Terrel Bernard's nine tackles for the Bills, they couldn't generate enough pressure to change the outcome, leaving the Texans to celebrate a hard-fought victory.
