In a crucial Week 13 matchup, the New York Jets narrowly defeated the Miami Dolphins, 26-17, solidifying their playoff aspirations as the season winds down. With both teams vying for a better position in the standings, the Jets' victory keeps them firmly in contention while the Dolphins struggle to find consistency. Deshaun Watson showcased his prowess under center, throwing for an impressive 363 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Jets' offense with precision and poise. Breece Hall contributed significantly on the ground with 96 rushing yards, while Cam Coleman emerged as a standout receiver, racking up 144 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable target for Watson throughout the game. Defensively, the Dolphins were led by Chris Johnson, who recorded seven total tackles, but it was Chop Robinson's 1.5 sacks that provided a spark for Miami's defense. However, the Jets' ability to convert key third downs and maintain possession ultimately turned the tide, with a pivotal touchdown in the fourth quarter sealing the win and demonstrating their resilience on the road.
