In a hard-fought battle in Week 18, the Denver Broncos topped the Las Vegas Raiders with a final score of 17-6. The victory secured the Broncos' position in the postseason, while the Raiders were left to ponder what might have been in a disappointing conclusion to their season. Leading the Broncos' offense was quarterback Bo Nix, who threw for 212 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his ability to manage the game effectively. On the ground, the Broncos maintained a balanced attack, but it was the Raiders' Mike Washington Jr. who stood out with 65 rushing yards, providing a spark for his team despite the loss. Shazz Preston also made his mark, racking up 82 receiving yards to keep the Raiders competitive. Defensively, the Broncos were able to contain the Raiders' offense, stifling their scoring opportunities throughout the game. The turning point came when Denver's defense forced a critical turnover that led to a touchdown, allowing them to build a lead they would not relinquish. The Raiders' Bray Hubbard recorded nine tackles, but ultimately, it was not enough to shift momentum in their favor as the Broncos' defense held strong to clinch the win.
