The Atlanta Falcons topped the Green Bay Packers 31-14 in a decisive Week 3 showdown, solidifying their momentum early in the 2026 season. With both teams vying for a strong start, the Falcons showcased their offensive prowess, dominating the scoreboard and the tempo of the game. Michael Penix Jr. led Atlanta’s attack with two touchdown passes, effectively utilizing his weapons to capitalize on scoring opportunities. Meanwhile, Green Bay’s Jordan Love threw for 261 yards, but struggled to find the end zone, while Josh Jacobs managed 82 rushing yards. Despite the offensive efforts from the Packers, Matthew Golden stood out with a remarkable 146 receiving yards, yet it wasn’t enough to change the outcome. Defensively, Kendal Daniels was a force for the Falcons, racking up seven total tackles and registering a sack, which helped stifle Green Bay's drive. The turning point came in the second quarter when Atlanta's defense forced a critical turnover, allowing them to extend their lead and maintain control for the remainder of the game. The Packers' inability to respond on both sides of the ball ultimately sealed their fate in this contest.
