In a thrilling season opener, the Baltimore Ravens narrowly defeated the Indianapolis Colts 42-38, showcasing a high-octane offensive display. Both teams fought hard, but the Ravens' explosive performance proved to be the difference, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting 2026 season. Lamar Jackson was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 323 yards and five touchdowns while also leading the ground game with 100 rushing yards. His connection with Zay Flowers was a highlight, as Flowers racked up 110 receiving yards, making crucial catches that kept drives alive. The duo’s chemistry was evident, and it played a significant role in Baltimore's ability to put points on the board. On the defensive side, the Colts struggled to contain Jackson, but they did manage some bright spots, including Khalil Mack's impressive 1.5 sacks. A.J. Haulcy led the defense with five total tackles, but it was Sauce Gardner's interception that gave the Colts a glimmer of hope late in the game. However, the Ravens' defense held firm when it mattered most, sealing the victory amidst a frantic finish.
