In a decisive matchup in Week 2 of the 2026 season, the Chicago Bears topped the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 24-10. Both teams were looking to establish momentum early in the season, but it was the Bears who emerged victorious, showcasing their strength on both sides of the ball. Caleb Williams led the charge for Chicago, throwing for 254 yards and two touchdowns, highlighting his ability to connect with his receivers downfield. Ashton Jeanty contributed significantly on the ground, adding 77 rushing yards to the Bears' offensive effort. The Vikings' Jordan Addison made an impressive impact with 94 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Chicago's offensive firepower. Defensively, the Bears made critical plays that shifted the momentum of the game. Montez Sweat recorded 1.5 sacks, constantly pressuring the Vikings' quarterback, while Dillon Thieneman secured an interception that thwarted a promising Minnesota drive. The turning point came in the second quarter when Thieneman's pick set up a Chicago touchdown, allowing them to build a comfortable lead that they maintained throughout the contest.
