The Seattle Seahawks topped the Arizona Cardinals 27-14 in a decisive Week 2 matchup of the 2027 season. This victory not only boosts Seattle's early-season momentum but also puts them in a strong position within the division as they look to establish dominance. Sam Darnold led the charge for the Seahawks, throwing for an impressive 266 yards, while Jaxon Smith-Njigba emerged as his top target, racking up an impressive 128 receiving yards. Carson Beck of the Cardinals threw a pair of touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Seattle’s offensive efficiency. Meanwhile, Jadarian Price contributed with crucial rushing yards, adding balance to the Seahawks' attack. Defensively, Seattle's performance was highlighted by Devon Witherspoon's interception, which shifted the momentum and solidified their lead. Although Leonard Williams managed to record half a sack, it was the collective pressure from the Seahawks that forced key mistakes from the Cardinals. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Witherspoon's interception set up a touchdown, giving Seattle a commanding lead they would not relinquish.
