The Indianapolis Colts cruised to a commanding 41-17 victory over the Houston Texans in Week 3 of the 2027 season, solidifying their position as a team to watch this year. This win not only boosts their record but also serves as a statement of intent as they aim for the playoffs. Leading the charge for the Colts was Anthony Richardson Sr, who threw for 135 yards and three touchdowns. Jonathan Taylor was a force on the ground, racking up an impressive 197 rushing yards while also contributing 72 receiving yards. This dynamic duo was instrumental in building a substantial lead for Indianapolis early in the game. On the defensive side, DeForest Buckner made his presence felt with two sacks, while Charvarius Ward Sr added an interception to the mix, further stifling the Texans' offense. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Colts scored two quick touchdowns, effectively putting the game out of reach. The Texans struggled to respond, and the Colts' defense ensured that any comeback hopes were swiftly extinguished.
