In a thrilling Week 7 showdown, the Minnesota Vikings narrowly defeated the San Francisco 49ers, 31-28, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The stakes were high as both teams sought to gain momentum heading into the second half of the season, but it was the Vikings who emerged victorious in this tightly contested matchup. Kyler Murray was the standout for Minnesota, throwing for 277 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his dynamic playmaking ability. Demond Claiborne contributed significantly on the ground with 100 rushing yards, while Jordan Addison made his mark in the passing game, racking up 114 receiving yards. The offensive performance from the Vikings proved too much for the 49ers to handle. Defensively, both teams had their moments, but the Vikings' Isaiah Rodgers Sr. made a crucial impact with an interception that shifted the momentum in the second half. The turning point came late in the game when the Vikings' defense held strong, stifling a late push from the 49ers and allowing Minnesota to secure the win. Renardo Green led the 49ers with eight total tackles, but it was not enough to overcome the Vikings' offensive firepower.
