In a decisive Week 9 matchup, the Buffalo Bills dominated the Houston Texans with a final score of 45-17, solidifying their playoff aspirations in the 2027 season. The Bills showcased their offensive prowess, while the Texans struggled to keep pace, resulting in a significant gap on the scoreboard. Josh Allen led the Bills' charge with an efficient performance, throwing for two touchdowns, while James Cook III carried the ground game with an impressive 123 rushing yards. C.J. Stroud of the Texans put up respectable numbers with 258 passing yards and connected with Tank Dell for 122 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to match Buffalo's offensive firepower. Defensively, the Bills made their mark with Greg Rousseau recording two sacks and Cole Bishop snagging an interception, which shifted the game's momentum. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Bishop's pick led to a quick touchdown drive, extending Buffalo's lead and putting the game out of reach for Houston. With both sides of the ball clicking, the Bills proved to be a formidable opponent as they continue their march through the season.
