In a hard-fought battle in Week 16, the New England Patriots narrowly defeated the Houston Texans, with a final score of 20-13. The stakes were high as both teams aimed to solidify their playoff positioning, making this matchup crucial as the regular season neared its end. Drake Maye led the charge for the Patriots, throwing for 212 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to deliver under pressure. Kyle Pitts Sr. was Maye's primary target, racking up 70 receiving yards and playing a key role in the Patriots' offensive strategy. Despite a strong effort from Woody Marks, who led the Texans with 51 rushing yards, Houston struggled to find consistent offensive rhythm. On the defensive side, Kamari Lassiter stood out for the Texans, recording eight total tackles and snagging an interception that kept Houston in the game. However, the turning point came when the Patriots' defense stiffened in the second half, limiting the Texans’ scoring opportunities and securing the victory. With this win, New England continues to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the season.
