In a high-scoring showdown, the Kansas City Chiefs outlasted the Cincinnati Bengals with a final score of 73 to 42, solidifying their playoff positioning in Week 14 of the 2026 season. The win highlights the Chiefs' offensive firepower as they continue to make their case for a deep postseason run. Patrick Mahomes showcased his elite skill set, throwing for an astonishing 502 yards and seven touchdowns, putting on a passing clinic that kept the Bengals' defense on their heels. Meanwhile, Cincinnati's Chase Brown found success on the ground with 108 rushing yards, and Ja'Marr Chase was a standout in the air, racking up an impressive 299 receiving yards, but their efforts were not enough to overcome the Chiefs' relentless offense. Defensively, Kansas City made key plays that shifted the momentum, including an interception by L'Jarius Sneed that halted a promising Bengals drive. The Chiefs also pressured Cincinnati's quarterback with a sack from R Mason Thomas, contributing to their ability to control the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when Mahomes threw three consecutive touchdown passes, putting the game out of reach and leaving the Bengals scrambling to catch up.
