In a commanding performance, the Washington Commanders defeated the San Francisco 49ers 44-25 in Week 6 of the 2026 season. With this victory, Washington solidifies its position in the playoff race, while San Francisco struggles to maintain momentum in a challenging season. Jacory Croskey-Merritt was the star of the night for Washington, rushing for an impressive 248 yards and contributing significantly to the team's scoring efforts. On the other side, Brock Purdy put up respectable numbers for the 49ers, throwing for 282 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to overcome the dominant ground game of the Commanders.
