In a high-scoring showdown, the New York Giants topped the New Orleans Saints 51-31 in Week 6 of the 2026 season. With playoff aspirations on the line, the Giants' explosive offense delivered a decisive performance against the struggling Saints, who now face a crucial stretch of games ahead. Giants running back Cam Skattebo was the standout on the ground, racking up an impressive 110 rushing yards, while quarterback Daniel Jones connected on key passes to keep the chains moving. For the Saints, Michael Penix Jr. threw for 280 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to command the offense despite the loss. Jordyn Tyson also shined in the receiving game for New Orleans, accumulating 95 yards and providing a reliable target throughout the game. Defensively, the Giants applied consistent pressure, but it was the Saints' inability to contain Skattebo that proved pivotal. The turning point came in the second quarter when New York scored two quick touchdowns, stretching their lead to a comfortable margin that the Saints could never recover from. While the Saints had notable defensive plays, including two sacks from Christen Miller and an interception by Pete Werner, it wasn't enough to slow down the Giants' relentless attack.
