In a thrilling Week 3 matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders narrowly defeated the New Orleans Saints 24-21, solidifying their position early in the 2026 season. Both teams fought hard, but it was the Raiders who came out on top in a game that had playoff implications for both franchises. Tyler Shough of the Saints put on an impressive display, throwing for 272 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. His top target, Chris Olave, racked up 99 receiving yards, proving to be a reliable option throughout the game. Meanwhile, Travis Etienne Jr. added to the offensive effort with 74 rushing yards, keeping the Raiders' defense on their toes. Defensively, the Raiders made critical plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Taron Johnson's interception was a key turning point, halting a potential Saints scoring drive and allowing the Raiders to capitalize on the opportunity. Although Decamerion Richardson led the Saints with 12 total tackles, it was the Raiders' ability to create turnovers that ultimately determined the outcome of this closely contested battle.
