The Indianapolis Colts topped the Washington Commanders 28-13 in a decisive Week 4 matchup of the 2026 season, solidifying their standing in the league. With this victory, the Colts assert themselves as a formidable contender, while the Commanders struggle to find consistency. Colts quarterback Daniel Jones led the charge with an impressive performance, throwing for 268 yards and two touchdowns. He was supported by a powerful rushing attack from Jonathan Taylor, who racked up 113 yards on the ground. Keenan Allen was the standout receiver, amassing 137 receiving yards, making crucial plays that kept the Colts' offense moving and the scoreboard ticking. While the Colts' offense shined, the Commanders' defense fought back, with Rasul Douglas recording seven total tackles and an interception. However, the turning point came late in the second quarter when Jones connected with Allen for a 45-yard touchdown, swinging momentum firmly in favor of Indianapolis. The Commanders' inability to respond effectively to that strike ultimately sealed their fate in this matchup.
