In a hard-fought battle in Week 14 of the 2026 season, the Los Angeles Rams topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 32-24. This victory keeps the Rams firmly in the playoff hunt, while the 49ers face a tougher road ahead as they try to secure their postseason position. Matthew Stafford led the Rams' offense with a strong performance, passing for 265 yards and connecting for a touchdown. Kyren Williams provided a crucial ground game, racking up 97 rushing yards, while Puka Nacua was the standout receiver with 74 yards through the air. Brock Purdy of the 49ers also had a solid outing, throwing for two touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Rams' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Rams were bolstered by Trent McDuffie's interception, which proved pivotal in the game's outcome. The turning point came late in the third quarter, when McDuffie's pick set the Rams up for a touchdown, extending their lead to two scores. Despite Ephesians Prysock's ten tackles and Romello Height's impressive 1.5 sacks for the 49ers, they couldn't contain the Rams' late-game surge, ultimately sealing their fate in this high-stakes matchup.
