In a tightly contested matchup, the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Houston Texans 30-21 in Week 12 of the 2026 season, keeping their playoff hopes alive. The stakes were high as both teams aimed for a crucial victory to bolster their postseason aspirations. Lamar Jackson led the Ravens' offensive attack, throwing for 250 yards and connecting with his top target, Zay Flowers, who racked up 116 receiving yards. The Texans saw a strong performance from rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud, who tossed two touchdown passes, while David Montgomery made notable contributions on the ground with 94 rushing yards, keeping Houston competitive throughout the game. Defensively, the Ravens made pivotal plays, including an interception from Roquan Smith that shifted momentum and halted a Texans drive. Marlon Humphrey also shined with six total tackles, helping to stifle Houston's offensive efforts. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Baltimore's defense stepped up, forcing the Texans to settle for a field goal instead of a potential game-tying touchdown, allowing the Ravens to hold on for the victory.
