In a commanding performance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Detroit Lions 20-0 in Week 11 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Buccaneers showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, leaving the Lions struggling to find any rhythm throughout the game. Leading the charge for Tampa Bay was quarterback Baker Mayfield, who threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns, effectively directing the offense. Receiver Johnny Wilson was his favorite target, racking up an impressive 130 receiving yards, while the rushing attack kept the Lions' defense guessing. Despite a solid effort from Jahmyr Gibbs, who led the Lions with 83 rushing yards, the Tampa Bay offense proved too much to handle. Defensively, the Buccaneers were relentless, with Rueben Bain Jr. standing out with four total tackles and two sacks, creating constant pressure on the Lions' offense. The turning point came early in the second half when Bain's second sack led to a turnover on downs, allowing Tampa Bay to extend their lead and ultimately control the game. With this victory, the Buccaneers solidify their position in the playoff race, while the Lions are left searching for answers.
