In a commanding performance, the Houston Texans topped the Cleveland Browns 40-24 in Week 10 of the 2026 season. This game was crucial for both teams as they jockey for playoff positioning, and the Texans demonstrated their dominance with a balanced offensive and defensive effort. C.J. Stroud led the Texans with a steady hand, throwing for a touchdown while managing the game effectively. On the ground, the Texans’ rushing attack was bolstered by an efficient performance, while on the other side, Cleveland's Dylan Sampson shined with 157 rushing yards, showcasing his ability to break tackles. Taylen Green also impressed for the Browns, posting 262 passing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Houston’s offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Texans were relentless, with Will Anderson Jr. making a significant impact by recording three sacks, putting constant pressure on Green. Calen Bullock's two interceptions were pivotal, shifting momentum and stifling any potential Browns comeback. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Bullock's second pick led to a Texans touchdown, effectively sealing the game as they took control into the second half.
