In a thrilling Week 7 matchup of the 2026 season, the Minnesota Vikings topped the Indianapolis Colts 59-45, solidifying their position in the playoff race. Both teams entered the game with high hopes, but it was the Vikings who delivered an explosive performance to claim victory. Kyler Murray was the standout star for Minnesota, showcasing his versatility with 296 passing yards and four touchdown passes, while also racking up an impressive 213 rushing yards. His ability to make plays with both his arm and legs kept the Colts' defense on their heels throughout the contest. Jordan Addison made a significant impact as well, leading the Vikings' receiving corps with 117 yards, further adding to the offensive onslaught. On the defensive side, the Vikings were able to capitalize on key moments, including an interception by Theo Jackson that helped shift momentum in their favor. The Colts struggled to contain Murray's dual-threat capabilities, ultimately leading to their downfall. Despite a solid performance from A.J. Haulcy, who recorded six total tackles, the Colts’ defense couldn't keep pace with Minnesota's high-powered offense during critical stretches of the game.
