In a decisive matchup in Week 6 of the 2026 season, the Houston Texans topped the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 27 to 10. With this win, the Texans solidify their position in the playoff race, while the Jaguars face a tough road ahead as they look to rebound from this defeat. C.J. Stroud led the Texans' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 206 yards and contributing to their scoring efforts. Woody Marks was a key playmaker on the ground, rushing for 98 yards and keeping the Jaguars' defense on their heels. Kayshon Boutte also made a significant impact with 86 receiving yards, helping to stretch the field and create scoring opportunities. Defensively, the Texans were able to contain the Jaguars' offense effectively, allowing only one touchdown. The game's turning point came in the second quarter when the Texans' defense stifled a promising Jaguars drive, forcing a turnover on downs that allowed Houston to extend their lead. Despite some individual bright spots for Jacksonville, including Travis Hunter's seven tackles and Josh Hines-Allen's two sacks, the Texans' defensive effort proved too much for the Jaguars to overcome.
