The Tampa Bay Buccaneers topped the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 25-13 in Week 3 of the 2026 season, securing a crucial victory to maintain their momentum early in the year. Both teams entered the matchup looking to solidify their standing, but it was the Buccaneers who came out on top, demonstrating a balanced attack and solid defense. Baker Mayfield led the charge for Tampa Bay, throwing for 291 yards, while Kyler Murray managed just one touchdown pass for Minnesota. The Buccaneers also had a strong contribution from Ted Hurst III in the receiving game, racking up 76 yards. On the ground, Jordan Mason of the Vikings was a bright spot with 97 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Buccaneers' offensive efficiency. Defensively, Tampa Bay made its mark with Yaya Diaby recording a key sack that disrupted Minnesota's rhythm. The turning point came in the second half when the Buccaneers' defense tightened, allowing just a single score while forcing turnovers. Isaiah Rodgers Sr of the Vikings led his team in tackles with six, but ultimately, it was the Buccaneers' ability to limit big plays that secured their victory.
