In a decisive Week 17 matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the Arizona Cardinals 21-7, solidifying their playoff positioning as the regular season draws to a close. With both teams vying for a critical win, the Raiders emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive strength. Quarterback Fernando Mendoza led the charge for Las Vegas, throwing for 286 yards and a touchdown, while Ashton Jeanty contributed significantly on the ground with 88 rushing yards. Despite a strong performance from Arizona’s Marvin Harrison Jr., who racked up 136 receiving yards, the Raider offense consistently found ways to move the ball and control the tempo of the game. Defensively, Maxx Crosby was a standout for the Raiders, recording 2.5 sacks that disrupted the Cardinals' rhythm and limited their scoring opportunities. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Crosby's pressure led to a critical interception, allowing Las Vegas to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win. The Raiders' defense played a pivotal role, stifling Arizona's offensive efforts and ensuring their playoff dreams remain alive.
