In a high-stakes Week 7 matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the New York Jets with a final score of 35-26. This victory not only bolsters the Raiders' playoff aspirations but also serves as a setback for the Jets, who were looking to gain ground in the competitive AFC landscape. Cade Klubnik led the Jets' offense, throwing for 193 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to move the ball through the air. However, it was the Raiders' Ashton Jeanty who made a significant impact on the ground, racking up 79 rushing yards. Meanwhile, Dont'e Thornton Jr. was a standout in the receiving corps, totaling 82 yards to keep the Raiders' offense on track. Defensively, the Raiders made crucial plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Maxx Crosby contributed with two sacks, consistently pressuring the Jets' quarterback, while Quay Walker's two interceptions proved pivotal in stalling New York's drives. The game's turning point came in the second half when Walker's second pick set up a scoring opportunity, allowing the Raiders to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory.
