In a high-scoring showdown, the Cleveland Browns topped the Los Angeles Rams 45-31 in Week 8 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams came out firing, but it was Cleveland's offensive prowess that ultimately secured the victory. Taylen Green was a standout for the Browns, throwing for four touchdowns and commanding the field with precision. Meanwhile, Kaizen Wolf of the Rams kept his team competitive with an impressive 387 passing yards, but it was Blake Corum's 90 rushing yards and Trey Palmer's 140 receiving yards that highlighted the Rams' offensive efforts, even in defeat. Defensively, the Browns made crucial plays, with Rueben Bain Jr. recording 1.5 sacks and Lorenzo Styles Jr. snagging an interception that shifted momentum in Cleveland's favor. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Styles’ pick set up a quick touchdown, allowing the Browns to pull ahead and maintain control throughout the second half.
