In a dominating performance, the New England Patriots secured a convincing 38-0 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Patriots showcased their prowess, asserting their place as a contender in the league. Drake Maye led the charge for New England, throwing for 298 yards and three touchdowns while also adding 72 rushing yards to his impressive stat line. His connection with Kyle Williams was particularly lethal, as Williams racked up 150 receiving yards, consistently finding space in the Jaguars' secondary and turning critical plays into scoring opportunities. Defensively, the Jaguars struggled to contain the Patriots' offensive onslaught, and while Christian Harris recorded 12 total tackles, it was evident the unit couldn't find a way to halt New England's momentum. The turning point came in the second quarter when Maye connected with Williams for a 65-yard touchdown, putting the game firmly in the Patriots' control and leaving Jacksonville reeling for the remainder of the contest.
