In a tightly contested Week 12 matchup, the Indianapolis Colts emerged victorious over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a final score of 26-20. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Colts who ultimately secured the crucial win to bolster their postseason hopes. Baker Mayfield led the Buccaneers with a strong performance, throwing for 287 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to move the ball effectively. However, it was Jonathan Taylor of the Colts who stole the show on the ground, racking up 122 rushing yards and keeping the Buccaneers' defense on its heels. The combination of Taylor's rushing prowess and key plays in the passing game kept Indianapolis in control throughout the contest. Defensively, the Buccaneers were led by Carson Schwesinger, who recorded 10 total tackles, but they struggled to contain the Colts at critical moments. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Colts scored a pivotal touchdown, putting them ahead for good. Tampa Bay's inability to make a stop in that moment proved costly, ultimately sealing their fate as Indianapolis held on for the hard-fought victory.
