In a dominant performance, the Chicago Bears topped the Tennessee Titans 35-3 in Week 3 of the 2028 season. This victory not only solidifies the Bears' position in the league but also raises questions about the Titans' ability to compete as they struggle to find their footing early in the season. Quarterback Darian Mensah led the charge for Chicago, throwing for 116 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his efficiency and poise under pressure. However, it was running back Hollywood Smothers who stole the show, racking up an astounding 301 rushing yards, consistently breaking through the Titans' defense and turning short gains into explosive plays. Rome Odunze contributed with 38 receiving yards, providing reliable support in the passing game. Defensively, the Bears were relentless, with Talanoa Hufanga leading the charge with six total tackles. The turning point came when Kamari Lassiter intercepted a Titans pass, shifting momentum firmly in favor of Chicago and allowing them to capitalize on the ensuing drive. With Will Anderson Jr. adding a sack to the mix, the Bears' defense proved to be a wall that the Titans could not penetrate, sealing the victory decisively.
