In a decisive Week 18 matchup, the Baltimore Ravens triumphed over the Pittsburgh Steelers with a final score of 35-14, solidifying their position in the playoffs. With both teams vying for postseason momentum, the Ravens showcased their dominance in front of a home crowd, leaving the Steelers to regroup ahead of the offseason. Lamar Jackson was the star of the game, throwing for 327 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating his playmaking ability and leadership. He connected with Zay Flowers for a standout performance, as Flowers racked up 125 receiving yards, consistently finding space in the Steelers’ secondary. Meanwhile, Breece Hall led the rushing attack for Pittsburgh with 70 yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Ravens' high-octane offense. Defensively, the Ravens made their mark, with Trenton Simpson leading the charge by registering 1.5 sacks and consistently pressuring the Steelers' offense. The turning point came in the second quarter when Baltimore scored two quick touchdowns, creating an insurmountable lead. Payton Wilson of the Steelers was a bright spot on defense, amassing 11 total tackles, but the Ravens' balanced attack proved too much to handle as they secured their playoff berth with authority.
