In a tightly contested matchup, the Houston Texans narrowly defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers, 19-17, in Week 13 of the 2026 season. The win keeps the Texans in playoff contention, while the Steelers face a critical juncture in their season as they look to rebound in the final stretch. On the offensive side, Aaron Rodgers led the Steelers with a strong performance, throwing for 328 yards and two touchdown passes. However, it was David Montgomery who shined for the Texans, accumulating 114 rushing yards to help secure the victory. Despite the loss, DK Metcalf emerged as a standout receiver for Pittsburgh, racking up 120 receiving yards, showcasing his ability to stretch the field. Defensively, the game turned when Will Anderson Jr. of the Texans wreaked havoc on the Steelers' offensive line, recording an impressive 3.5 sacks, which disrupted Rodgers’ rhythm throughout the game. Payton Wilson's nine tackles for the Steelers kept them in the fight, but it was the Texans' defensive pressure that ultimately swayed the outcome. The late-game interception by Kader Kohou wasn't enough to turn the tide, as Houston held on for the hard-fought win.
