In a decisive matchup during Week 13 of the 2026 season, the San Francisco 49ers topped the New York Giants with a final score of 24-12. This victory not only bolstered the 49ers' playoff aspirations but also showcased their offensive prowess against a struggling Giants team. Brock Purdy led the charge for San Francisco, throwing for 252 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating accuracy and poise throughout the game. George Kittle was his favorite target, racking up 87 receiving yards and consistently moving the chains. Meanwhile, the Giants' Cam Skattebo managed to put together a respectable rushing performance with 53 yards, but it was not enough to keep pace with the 49ers' high-powered offense. Defensively, the 49ers made crucial plays that shifted the momentum of the game in their favor. Kool-Aid McKinstry stood out with three total tackles, while Marques Sigle added an interception that halted a potential scoring drive for New York. The turning point came in the second quarter when Purdy connected with Kittle for a touchdown, extending the lead and ultimately allowing San Francisco to control the tempo for the remainder of the game.
