The San Francisco 49ers topped the Minnesota Vikings 24-14 in a crucial Week 11 matchup of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the 49ers secured a vital victory at home, solidifying their position in the postseason race. Brock Purdy led the charge for San Francisco, throwing for 266 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing both accuracy and poise under pressure. His ability to connect with receivers downfield was pivotal, allowing the 49ers to maintain scoring momentum. Meanwhile, Justin Jefferson kept the Vikings competitive with a standout performance, racking up 123 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to tilt the outcome in Minnesota's favor. Defensively, the 49ers were effective in stifling the Vikings' offensive efforts, highlighted by Renardo Green’s interception that halted a potential scoring drive. Ashtyn Davis also contributed with four total tackles, providing solid support in the secondary. The turning point came in the second half when Purdy orchestrated a quick scoring drive that extended the lead, leaving the Vikings scrambling to catch up as time ticked away.
