In a thrilling Week 9 matchup, the Green Bay Packers topped the New England Patriots 38-27, solidifying their position in the playoff race. Both teams entered the game looking to gain momentum, but it was the Packers who ultimately seized control of the contest. Jordan Love was exceptional for Green Bay, throwing for 343 yards and leading the offense effectively. Complementing him was Josh Jacobs, who rushed for 91 yards, while Christian Watson shone as his primary target, racking up 116 receiving yards. Drake Maye kept the Patriots competitive with two touchdown passes, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Packers' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Packers made crucial plays when it mattered most, with Micah Parsons recording 1.5 sacks that helped disrupt New England's rhythm. The game's turning point came late in the third quarter when a key turnover set up Green Bay's scoring drive, allowing them to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory. The Patriots struggled to respond defensively, paving the way for the Packers to hold off their late-game surge.
