In a high-scoring showdown, the New York Giants triumphed over the Houston Texans with a final score of 53-38 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. Both teams entered the game vying for playoff positioning, but it was the Giants who came out on top, showcasing their offensive firepower. C.J. Stroud of the Texans had a standout performance, throwing for an impressive 435 yards and five touchdowns, but it was the Giants' offense that made the difference. Cam Skattebo provided a strong ground game with 93 rushing yards, while Davante Adams lit up the field with 186 receiving yards, making crucial catches that propelled New York to victory. Their offensive balance kept the Texans' defense guessing all night. Defensively, the Giants were able to apply pressure, with Joey Bosa leading the charge with two sacks. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Giants forced a turnover on downs, allowing them to extend their lead and shift the momentum in their favor. Despite a valiant effort from the Texans, including a late interception by Will Anderson Jr., they could not overcome the Giants' relentless offensive assault.
