The Houston Texans claimed a decisive 24-10 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams seeking crucial conference points, the Texans outperformed their rivals, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience. On the offensive side, the Texans relied heavily on David Montgomery, who led the ground game with 54 rushing yards, contributing to the team's balanced attack. Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars logged 188 passing yards, but struggled to find the end zone, while Parker Washington was the standout receiver for Jacksonville, racking up 82 yards through the air but ultimately unable to convert those yards into points. Defensively, the Texans made their mark with Kamari Lassiter’s interception, which shifted momentum in their favor at a critical juncture of the game. Despite a solid effort from Travon Walker, who registered two sacks for the Jaguars, the Houston defense was able to contain Jacksonville's offense effectively. The turning point came midway through the second half when Lassiter's pick led to a touchdown drive, putting the Texans ahead and allowing them to maintain control for the remainder of the match.
