In a thrilling Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season, the Denver Broncos narrowly defeated the Los Angeles Rams, clinching a 31-28 victory. The stakes were high as both teams sought to establish momentum early in the season, but it was the Broncos who came out on top in a hard-fought battle. Matthew Stafford showcased his passing prowess for the Rams, racking up an impressive 398 yards and tossing four touchdown passes, with Puka Nacua leading the receiving corps with 126 yards. However, the Rams’ ground game struggled, with Jeremiyah Love managing just 30 rushing yards, putting the onus squarely on Stafford's arm to keep them competitive throughout the game. Defensively, Aaron Donald was a standout for Los Angeles, recording 6 total tackles and an impressive 4.5 sacks, but it was Alex Singleton of the Broncos who made a critical impact, intercepting a pass that shifted momentum in Denver's favor. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Singleton's interception set up a touchdown drive, ultimately sealing the victory for the Broncos and handing the Rams a tough loss.
