The Green Bay Packers secured a convincing 28-7 victory over the New York Jets in Week 2 of the 2026 season. With this win, the Packers continue to establish themselves as a formidable contender in the league, while the Jets face early challenges in their campaign. Jordan Love led the Packers' offensive charge, throwing for 150 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to capitalize in the red zone. Josh Jacobs contributed on the ground with 40 rushing yards, providing balance to an efficient offensive performance. Adonai Mitchell stood out for the Jets with 67 receiving yards, but it was not enough to keep pace with Green Bay's offensive output. Defensively, the Packers were dominant, highlighted by Lukas Van Ness, who recorded two sacks, and Edgerrin Cooper, who had two interceptions, both pivotal in stifling New York's drives. The turning point came when Cooper's second interception halted a potential scoring drive, allowing the Packers to extend their lead and put the game out of reach. Xavier McKinney also made his presence felt with four tackles, contributing to a well-rounded defensive effort that kept the Jets at bay.
