In a commanding performance, the San Francisco 49ers topped the Denver Broncos 49-17 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. This victory solidified the 49ers' position as a formidable contender in the league, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive capabilities. Brock Purdy was the standout performer, throwing for an impressive 381 yards and four touchdown passes, effectively leading the 49ers' high-octane offense. Mike Evans was a key target, racking up 161 receiving yards, while RJ Harvey of the Broncos kept his team competitive with 94 rushing yards, but it was not enough to overcome San Francisco's explosive attack. Defensively, the 49ers were relentless, highlighted by Nick Bosa's two sacks and Fred Warner's interception, which helped shift the momentum of the game. The turning point came midway through the third quarter when Warner's pick set up another touchdown, extending the lead to an insurmountable margin and sealing the fate of the Broncos. Ji'Ayir Brown also contributed with five total tackles, bolstering a defense that stymied Denver's efforts throughout the matchup.
