The Baltimore Ravens topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 35-13 in a decisive Week 9 matchup, solidifying their playoff ambitions as the regular season approaches its final stretch. With this victory, the Ravens improved their record and showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball. Lamar Jackson was the standout performer for Baltimore, throwing for 267 yards and three touchdowns while also contributing on the ground with 67 rushing yards. His ability to balance both passing and rushing effectively kept the Jaguars' defense on their heels, making it difficult for them to contain the Ravens’ dynamic offense. Zay Flowers also made a significant impact, leading the receiving corps with 86 yards, further amplifying Baltimore's offensive prowess. Defensively, the Ravens were relentless, with Roquan Smith leading the charge with seven total tackles, ensuring that the Jaguars struggled to find their rhythm. The turning point in the game came midway through the second quarter when a critical sack from Nnamdi Madubuike disrupted a Jacksonville drive, allowing the Ravens to regain control and extend their lead. This defensive pressure was instrumental in limiting the Jaguars' scoring opportunities throughout the contest.
