In a decisive matchup, the New England Patriots topped the Chicago Bears 31-7 in Week 7 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations. The Patriots, riding high on their offensive momentum, demonstrated their dominance on the road against a struggling Bears squad. Drake Maye was the star of the show for New England, throwing for 166 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his targets effectively. TreVeyon Henderson also made a significant impact, contributing with 78 rushing yards and adding another 70 yards through the air, proving to be a dual-threat weapon that the Bears' defense couldn't contain. On the defensive side, the Patriots were relentless, with Milton Williams recording a sack that disrupted Chicago's offensive flow. Gabe Jacas sealed the game with a critical interception, further stifling any hopes of a Bears comeback. The turning point came early in the second half when Maye's fourth touchdown pass extended the lead, leaving Chicago with little room to maneuver.
