The Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 22-16 in a closely contested Week 6 matchup of the 2026 season. Both teams were vying for momentum as they approached the midway point of the season, but it was the Steelers who ultimately came out on top, securing a vital victory on the road. Baker Mayfield led the Buccaneers' offensive efforts, throwing for 240 yards and a touchdown, while also showcasing his ability to distribute the ball effectively. Emeka Egbuka emerged as his top target, racking up 91 receiving yards, and Bucky Irving added a solid ground game with 69 rushing yards. Despite these strong performances, the Buccaneers struggled to find the end zone consistently. On the defensive side, Jalen Ramsey's interception proved to be a pivotal moment in the game, thwarting a crucial Buccaneers drive and allowing the Steelers to maintain their lead. While Alex Anzalone had a standout performance with 13 total tackles and 1.5 sacks, it was Ramsey's timely play that shifted the momentum and ultimately helped Pittsburgh secure the victory. The Steelers’ defense held firm in the closing moments, ensuring the win in a tightly contested battle.
