The Pittsburgh Steelers dominated the Indianapolis Colts with a decisive 42-6 victory in Week 5 of the 2026 season. This win not only boosts the Steelers' confidence but also solidifies their position in the playoff race, while the Colts will need to regroup as they face mounting challenges ahead. Trevor Lawrence led the charge for Pittsburgh, throwing for 136 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his efficiency under center. Germie Bernard was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 81 yards to help propel the Steelers’ offense. Meanwhile, Jonathan Taylor managed a modest 50 rushing yards for the Colts, struggling to find any rhythm against a stout Steelers defense. On the defensive side, Jamel Dean was a force, recording four total tackles and a sack, while Rayshawn Jenkins added an interception to his stat line. The turning point came early in the game when Jenkins picked off a pass, shifting the momentum firmly in Pittsburgh's favor. From that moment on, the Steelers capitalized on every opportunity, overwhelming the Colts and ensuring a lopsided victory.
