In a thrilling Week 2 matchup of the 2026 season, the Baltimore Ravens topped the New Orleans Saints with a final score of 40-30. Both teams were looking to establish early momentum in the season, but the Ravens proved to be the stronger side, securing a crucial victory at home. Lamar Jackson led the Ravens' offense with 198 passing yards, while Tyler Shough of the Saints managed to throw three touchdown passes despite the loss. Travis Etienne Jr. was a standout on the ground for New Orleans, racking up 147 rushing yards, but ultimately, it was not enough to overcome Baltimore's balanced attack. Defensively, the Ravens made key plays that altered the game's momentum, with Nate Wiggins standing out by recording two interceptions and three total tackles. The turning point came in the second half when Wiggins' second interception set up a touchdown drive that extended Baltimore's lead. Although Chase Young secured a sack for the Saints, the Ravens' defense proved to be pivotal in clinching this victory.
