In a dominant display, the New England Patriots topped the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-0 in Week 2 of the 2026 season, showcasing their strength on both sides of the ball. This victory solidifies the Patriots' early-season momentum while the Steelers struggle to find their footing. Drake Maye led the charge for New England, throwing for 95 yards and a touchdown, effectively managing the game while relying on a balanced offensive attack. Rhamondre Stevenson contributed with 27 rushing yards, providing crucial support on the ground, while Michael Pittman stood out for the Steelers with 62 receiving yards, trying to spark his team’s offense. Defensively, the Patriots were relentless, with Harold Landry III recording two sacks and Kevin Byard III securing an interception, stifling any potential scoring threats from Pittsburgh. The turning point came late in the first half when Maye's touchdown pass put the Patriots up two scores, forcing the Steelers into a one-dimensional game plan that they struggled to execute.
