In a decisive matchup, the Detroit Lions topped the Carolina Panthers 25-13 in Week 4 of the 2026 season. With both teams looking to solidify their standings, the Lions emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess and solidifying their position in the playoff race. D'Andre Swift was the standout performer for Detroit, racking up an impressive 238 rushing yards, consistently breaking through the Panthers' defensive line. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater led the charge for Carolina with 233 passing yards and a touchdown, but his efforts fell short against a relentless Lions offense. On the defensive side, Earl Thomas III made a significant impact for Detroit, coming up with a crucial interception that halted a promising Panthers drive. Jashon Cornell added pressure with a sack, while the Lions' overall defensive performance stifled Carolina's rhythm. The turning point came in the second half when Thomas’s interception shifted momentum firmly in favor of the Lions, allowing them to control the clock and secure the win.
