In a dominant performance, the Washington Commanders topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 45-13 in Week 17 of the 2026 season. With playoff positioning on the line, Washington asserted its strength, showcasing a well-rounded offensive and defensive effort that left little doubt about the outcome. Quarterback Jayden Daniels was the star of the night for Washington, throwing for 229 yards and two touchdowns while also leading the team on the ground with 107 rushing yards. His ability to extend plays and connect with receivers was crucial, especially as Antonio Williams emerged as the top target with 78 receiving yards. The Commanders' offense was relentless, capitalizing on every opportunity to put points on the board. Defensively, Washington's unit was formidable, highlighted by Leo Chenal's two sacks that disrupted Jacksonville's rhythm throughout the game. While Jarrian Jones of the Jaguars recorded the most tackles and an interception, it was Washington's defense that made the key stops when it mattered most, particularly in the second quarter when they stifled a potential scoring drive by Jacksonville. This turning point allowed the Commanders to pull away and secure a commanding victory.
